BHUTAN IV

Bhutan IV is the first group to attend the Spring semester in Bhutan as participants in the Wheaton/Royal Thimphu College semester abroad program.  The first week brought us from Boston to Bangkok via Japan, and then finally, Bhutan, where we were oriented to the country by visiting some of its most spectacular and sacred sites. As the semester moves along in its often unpredictable ways, we come to experience many facets of Bhutan in our daily lives, special events, and excursions, both close to our new hillside home at Royal Thimphu College, and long rides and walks away: some carefully planned in advance, and others miraculously presenting themselves as unexpected and extraordinary opportunities.  This website is intended to provide us with a way of sharing those experiences in our own words and images.
